 HSS Anangannadi  Date: August 23 Time: 4:00 pm (after school hours) A cleanliness drive was organized at HSS Anangannadi on August 23, with the aim of maintaining a clean and hygienic environment in the school. The drive focused on cleaning the school premises and assembly ground. The plastic wastes were segregated and disposed sepera tely.

  HSS ANANGANADI  DATE:15/08/2024 INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION  The 78th Independence Day celebration was held at HSS Anangannadi, with trainee teachers from NSS Training College playing a pivotal role in organizing the event. The program commenced at 9:00 am with the flag hoisting ceremony, led by the school's Headmistress, Mrs. Jayasree, accompanied by the flag song.This was followed by an impressive march past by the NCC cadets. The event featured enlightening speeches by the Panchayat President and other distinguished guests. A rally was also organized, stretching from Anangannadi to Kothakurussi, spreading the spirit of independence to the community. The program concluded with the sweet distribution, marking a sweet end to the celebrations.

  HSS ANANGANNADI  Date :14/08/2024 Class on Flag making A class on Flag making held on 14/08/2024 ,2.00 pm at 7th F. The class was solely meant for UP level students.The class was helped the student to understand the ratio of INDIAN FLAG and what the colours represents.

 Two-Day Arts Fest at TRK Higher Secondary School, Vaniyamkulam** The Arts Fest at TRK Higher Secondary School, Vaniyamkulam, took place on the 29th and 30th of August. The event saw an overwhelming response, with a large number of students attending, and an even higher number of participants on the second day compared to the first. The program commenced on the first day with a prayer by a school student, followed by the presidential address delivered by the respected headmaster, Mr. Jagageesh sir. The inauguration was conducted by the esteemed Bharatanatyam dancer and choreographer, Ms. Srividya Srinath, who is also an alumna of the school. She inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp. The competitions were organized across three stages. On the first stage, the events began with a story speech, followed by competitions in folk music, Oppana, Bharatanatyam, folk dance, and Kuchipudi, which took place on Stage 2. We guided and evaluated students for the quiz conducted at the school as the part of Kerala Sashtrolsavam Quiz.  The quiz had 20 questions and students participated well. Finally the winners both first and second were announced. 

As the part of Space Day, a Quiz was conducted and prizes were distributed to the winners by the Head Mistress Sister Jessie. 

 

14/08/2024 Wednesday   Flag making competition was conducted in relation to the Independence day

 School Sports Day 22,23 August 2024 Venue: TRK HSS Vaniamkulam   *Annual Sports Meet* of TRK HSS Vaniamkulam commenced today, 22 August 2024. The event brought together students from first grade to Plus Two, with various athletic competitions organized to showcase their talents. The competitions began promptly at 10:00 AM. The day kicked off with the 100-meter sprint for the younger students, setting the tone for the rest of the events. The students were divided into four teams: Blue, Yellow, Red and Green, each competing with great enthusiasm and determination. As NSS volunteers from NSS Training College, Ottapalam, we were proud to be a part of this event, contributing to its successful organization and management.   13/08/2024 Tuesday  Student teachers conducted an awareness class on the importance of organ donation in relation to the World Organ Donation Day

 TRK HSS VANIYAMKULAM    *'Samskrita Dhinajaranam: Pandithadaranam and Club inauguration'*  On 21 August 2024, TRK HSS Vaniyamkulam hosted the programme *"Samskrita Dhinajaranam: Pandithadaranam and Club inauguration"*. The event commenced at 10.30 Am on School Auditorium. The program "Samskrita Dhinajaranam: Pandithadaranam" was inaugurated by Dr. Bharathi K . The Bharathi sanskrit club is inaugurated by Dr. Adrija P and Dr. Bhadra PKM. They give a good message on the significance and importance of sanskrit language.

  13/08/2024   Tuesday  Student teachers of NSSTC Ottapalam  during internship at GVHSS Koonathara assisted Ambalappara block health department in testing the Hb level of 10 th standard students and examining their health conditions .

                        KVR HS SHORANUR                         Food fest  27/08/24 Teacher trainees of NSSTC ottapalam conducted food fest in KVR HS SHORANUR as a part of internship. The food fest conducted under the coordination of Ligitha teacher. The food fest was inaugurated by HM , KVR HS SHORANUR at 11 AM at noonmeal hall.The students from 5 A and 5 B participated in above programme. The students actively participated in the programme by preparing food from home like rava laddu, pazhampori, kesari, maggi, ragi laddu etc . The enthusiastic minds eagerly waiting for tasting their recipes by the teacher. The recipes were presented by students with written handouts of food recipes. The teacher instructed them to collect and can make a recipe book out of it.

                        KVR HS SHORANUR                              NATIONAL SPACE DAY                              23rd AUGUST 2024 As a part of national space day celebration, We conducted short essay writing competition on topic " Is future space exploration good for mankind? at Highschool level and poster making competition on the topic " life in space " at UP level on 23/08/2024 at 1 pm in noon meal hall. Space day provided a platform for all the students who are enthusiastic to showcase their talents by articulating their thoughts.  Anurudh U got first prize at UP level in poster making competition and Souparnika P got first prize for short essay writing competition.
