  Independence Day At LSNGHSS OTTAPALAM LSN Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Ottapalam celebrated Independence Day 2025 with great enthusiasm. The HSS Principal hoisted the national flag, followed by patriotic songs, speeches, and cultural performances by UP, HS, and HSS students. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and sweet distribution to all.

  Sub-District Science Seminar at LSNGHS Ottapalam The Sub-District Science Seminar Competition was held today at 10:00 am in the Higher Secondary Block of LSNGHS Ottapalam. Students from various schools participated, presenting on the topic “Potential and Challenges of Quantum Science” for the Higher Secondary section. Each presentation was followed by a Q&A session. Three external judges evaluated the event, while B.Ed. trainees volunteered to assist in its smooth conduct.

  District level AIDS awareness quiz The district level Red Ribbon Quiz Competition was held as part of AIDS awareness campaign, by the Kerala State AIDS Control Society, at Palakkad district health center, on July 28 at 10 am. It aimed to raise awareness about AIDS and promote healthy behaviors among young people. BEd trainees accompanied the students and guided them .

Sanskrit Quiz Competition A Sanskrit Quiz Competition was held on 7th August 2025 at LSN GHSS Ottapalam as part of the Youth Festival. Teacher trainees acted as invigilators and coordinators, ensuring smooth conduct. The event saw enthusiastic participation and promoted interest in Sanskrit

Independence Day Quiz As part of the Independence Day celebrations, a  Quiz was organised at LSNGHS Ottapalam on 11 August 2025 at 2:00 p.m. The programme was prepared and conducted by the B.Ed trainees.

Friendship day was celebrated in KVRHS SHORNUR in 07/08/2025 in connection with shornur municipality 

A chart containing the "Deshapushpam" and its medicinal qualities was exhibited in the school as a part of Karkkidakam first.Some of flowers in the Deshapushpam were also exhibited originally as a part of this day.The science club of the school coordinated the activities.  

Hiroshima and Nagasaki Day was observed at LSN GHSS Ottapalam on August 6, to promote peace and remember the victims of the atomic bombings. The programme was coordinated by Physical Science trainees and included a quiz, speech, peace pledge, Sadako bird making activities. Students actively participated, making the event meaningful and impactful.  

 Parliamentary Victory Day  at LSN GHSS Ottapalam Parliamentary Victory Day was celebrated at LSN GHSS Ottapalam on July 30 at 2 PM. Students were elected as Prime Minister and ministers through a mock election, followed by an oath-taking ceremony. A mock parliament session was conducted, coordinated by Social Science teachers and Physical Science trainees. Students also performed cultural programs, making the event both educational and enjoyable.

  Arts Day – LSNGHSS Ottapalam August 1 & 2, 2025 Arts Day was celebrated at LSNGHSS Ottapalam on August 1 and 2. The event began with an inaugural session by student representatives, followed by non-dance item competitions on the first day. On the second day, classical dance performances were held in the main auditorium, showcasing students’ talent and dedication. Physical science trainees assisted in organizing and managing the events on both days.

  World Nature Conservation Day at LSN GHSS, Ottapalam Natural Conservation Day was observed on July 28 at LSN GHSS, Ottapalam. The program was organized by the SEED Club, featuring a rally with posters and placards to spread awareness on environmental conservation.  Physical Science option trainees served as volunteers, helping coordinate the event. An AIDS awareness quiz Competition was held as part of the Yuva Jagaran program, a initiative by the Kerala State AIDS Control Society , at the Ambalappara Block Family Health Centre on July 26 at 10 am. School students from classes 8, 9, and 11 participated in the quiz, which aimed to raise awareness about AIDS and promote healthy behaviors among young people.  Physical science option trainees accompanied the students and guided them throughout the competition

  Work Experience fair, Science fair, and Social Science Fair at LSN GHSS Ottapalam , 26 July 2025 On 26 July 2025, LSN GHSS Ottapalam conducted a combined Work Experience Fair, Science Fair, and Social Science Fair. Students presented various models and exhibits showcasing their creativity and knowledge in different subjects. Trainees from NSS Training College, Ottapalam actively assisted in organizing and guiding the students during the event. 

  Moon Day Celebration – LSNGHS Ottapalam LSNGHS Ottapalam celebrated Moon Day with a quiz conducted by trainees, a magazine competition, planetarium visit and a science exhibition. Students actively participated and showcased their creativity and knowledge about the Moon and space exploration.
