 GHSS OTTAPALAM  November 1 Friday  In connection with Keralapiravi,we conducted school assembly.Assembly started with morning prayer followed by pledge.Later pledge related to "Bharanabhasha Malayalam"was delivered by Noorja teacher(HM in Charge).Few words related to Keralapiravi was delivered by Anagha and later on the school was announced as "Harithavidyalayam" by Haritha as instructed by DEO to all schools of Ottapalam educational district. Students of standard XI sung a group song.Prizes of poster making competition were distributed. "Keranirakaladum"song was sung by Devika and Akhila.Felicitation was given by Hari Sir and the programme concluded with national an them.

                            KVR HS SHORANUR                                    ICT BASED CLASS  Conducted ICT based class for 9c on the topic EXCRETION IN OTHER ORGANISMS 

  Today we have conducted a poster making competition on the topic nutrition. The competition was held in the biology lab on the fourth period. Students from 8th, 9th and 10th standard participated in the competition. 

  Today a free medical camp was conducted for the Higher Secondary level students at the Teachers' trainee staff room. The program was initiated in association with the National Service Scheme volunteers. This program was conducted prior to a blood donation camp which will be held on Tuesday, 29/10/2024. All the students from higher secondary level showed much enthusiasm and interest to understand and be aware about their health and wellness.

On the 21st of October 2024, as part of the *Hortus Malabaricus* journey organized by *Malayala Manorama*, a grand reception was held at TRK HSS Vaniyamkulam. The program ,which took place at the higher secondary section of the school commenced at 9 AM. The ceremony was inaugurated by renowned director Lal Jose Sir, with Rajeev Sir ,principal of the school handing over a letter to the *Manorama* team. The letter contributed by TRKHSS Vaniyamkulam was the Malayalam letter "ഥ." Following the inauguration, the students from the +1 and +2 classes presented a *Kavya Malika*, where they recited a beautiful song. Then Vashist, a student from the 9th standard who had played a role in the movie *Minnal Murali*. He recited a Malayalam poem, adding a special touch to the event. Planting Festival at Pathiripala Shanmugan took over the barren paddy field in Mannur and cultivated it on 22/10/2024. Farmers made planting a festival. N.S.S unit and teacher students of Pathiripala Higher Secondary School participated as part of the planting festival.

As a part of the International Mole day, we conducted a poster making competition for both XI and XII science students. 

 * KVR HS SHORANUR*   *_22 October 2024_* The LED workshop is conducted by us on noon meal hall at 9:30 am in collaboration with science club of the school. The programme  inaugurated by Sri  K R Mohandas ,manager KVR HS SHORANUR, presidential address by Smt.  K R Sheena , headmistress KVR HS SHORANUR, Mr. Sabir LED trainer KSEB sub station operator.The interested students can participate in this programme to take part in energy conservation as it help students to make LED bulbs in their home and also they got assistance and instructions in making new LED bulbs from previous damaged ones. It paves the way to waste management and also energy conservation. It helps students to start making LED bulbs in home and sell to others and hence making them independent in this way.Students actively participated in the session and clarified their doubts.  *KVR HS SHORANUR*   _Sub district sports  ATHLETIC MEET 2024-2025_  8 October 2024 Today day one of subdistrict sports 2024  held at KVR HS SHORANUR. The sports inaugurated by respected Mr jayaprakash  M.R ,shoranur municipal chairman by hoisting the flag and lit the lamp by wise chairperson smt. Sindhu.   KVR HS SHORANUR  Sub district sports 2024 This time the sub-district sports will be held at KVR HS SHORANUR it is a three day event will be held on October 8,9,10. On October 7, the events like shotput, Javelin throw, high jump, discus throw is conducted on THS school shoranur. We were assigned duties as officials for the programme along with subramanian sir and anila teacher . We arranged students in order of their chess numbers and given instructions regarding sports items.The event was a great way for the students to get involved in physical activity and to develop a healthy lifestyle. It also helped to promote sportsmanship and fair play among the students.

As a part of the sashtramela, we guided and provided ideas for students in the project named " Traffic Turbine".

On 11/09/2024, distribution of rice to UP children was held at Pathiripala Government School. The teachers and student teachers of Pathiripala School distributed rice to the children.

  SCIENCE FAIR    _KVR HS SHORANUR_  3 October 2024 We conducted science fair on October 3 ,2024 at 10:45 am on noon meal hall. The science  fair witnessed great enthusiasm and blooming participation from children of diverse classes, who had the unique opportunity of exploring as well as expressing their creative scientific ideas in the form of activities, models and projects. The event gave a diverse hands on experience to children, wherein they could translate the theoretical scientific principles into the mode of application in the form of observable phenomena. The fair was filled with the ideas of young minds in different areas like paper craft, clay model, products from waste material, science projects, book binding. The best science  projects are selected for sub district sasthrolsavam.
